True match is undoubtably one of, if not the most definitive of all drugstore foundations. Growing up, I’d watch my mother smoothly apply her L’Oréal foundation in the early mornings. Before all the overwhelming skin makeup options we have today, back in the day, L’Oréal was always that … Continue reading REVIEW: L’ORÉAL TRUE MATCH SUPER BLENDABLE FOUNDATION

Inspired by Fenty Beauty’s ‘uncensored’ Stunna Lip Paint (worn in this edit) I wanted to push myself a little further out of my comfort zone and add some clashing yet complimenting shadows for my eyes, specifically for the liner. I also love collecting them in black, only because it becomes easier for … Continue reading Outfit of The Day: The Knit Dress
Happy Sunday, everyone! Today’s mellow outfit features a mustard yellow sweater (a current favourite), put together with my go-to blue jeans and essential over-the-knee black boots. SWEATER … Continue reading Outfit of The Day: #CasualVibes
Not too long ago, beauty mogul and makeup YouTuber, NikkiTutorials released a Halloween glam makeup tutorial! I gave the base a more glass finish … Continue reading MAKEUP MOOD: SHOCK WAVE

I’ve recently been noticing this new re-birth of 60’s style makeup. Although it had already made its influence through many other modernised renditions of the 60’s look over the decades, this year has really become an interesting time for different makeup artists and non-makeup artists to experiment with the simplicity of single, bold eyeshadows. Paired with, of course, graphic liner. For this look, I not … Continue reading MAKEUP LOOK: Bold Eyeshadow Inspired by the ’60s

In this blog post, I’ll be reviewing a couple of products from Nip+Fab that I ordered not too long ago. Happy 1st of December, Everyone! Today’s makeup look is probably one of the simplest yet enhancing makeup looks I’ve done on The Belper. My newest and most favourite essential atm has to be this very oversized blazer I recently thrifted. So this week I’ve had the opportunity to try out a couple of organic, skin care products from Irum Cosmetics! This vegan and cruelty-free brand currently feature two organic products on their site that they’ve kindly sent me to share my thoughts and review.

Helps Stimulate and improve blood circulation
Tightens and lifts the skin
I must quickly mention that the packaging is perfect for this powder mask! Seeing as it is powder, the product can get everywhere quite quickly. But with this jar I love how sealed it is even after use, making it easy for me to travel with it!
Application
So the application process was simple and easy as I used a clean plastic container or even the palm of my hand at times to quickly apply the product.
It has a refreshing, distinct smell (like green clay…..obvs, Stacy), but when applied for the first time I felt this cooling, self-distributing method going on, on my skin – it was lovely! Felt like a spa treatment, to be honest.
I evenly applied the product all over the face and I’d say within 10 minutes of waiting, I felt my face tightening up like crazy. It felt like some sort of facelift – like I myself was clay drying up into a statue. It’s clear the mask was certainly doing its job! 20 minutes then go by and I’m washing it off with lukewarm water as recommended. I also tried with cold water just because and both results wowed me!
My face looked and felt tightened yet incredibly lifted! my Mother even noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. It may sound odd but my face also felt lighter. The mask really did help rid of the impurities and oiliness that remained on my skin – definitely a weekly treatment that makes all the difference in texture! I enjoyed it.
Mini Rating
Application: 4/5
Drying: 5/5
Feeling and texture of the mask after 20 minutes: 4/5
Results: 5/5
My Thoughts
I fell in LOVE with the fact that this mask powder is extremely versatile. Instead of mixing just a few drop of water, you could also add, Aloe Vera, Rose Water, Honey, Cucumber Juice, Coconut for hydration, even Lavender, Cactus and so forth!
This has definitely got me hooked onto the powder mask train – will last longer and for sure give my skin the weekly treatment it needs! I personally think this product is great for anyone, especially any makeup wearers or those who spend a lot of time outdoors!
I had the pleasure of viewing Derby Theatre’s newest Production, Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, adapted by Neil Bartlett – Directed by Sarah Brigham. The actors flow within their characters in the most effortless and captivating way possible, interestingly brought to life and carried with some of the same crafty elements Dicken’s has in Pip’s narrations. I liked that even though the play is not nearly … Continue reading GREAT EXPECTATIONS Review

I wanted something easy to re-create without any fuss or a ton of products. I really wanted a light approach to the makeup on the eyes and skin, focusing on light shadow and enhancing my natural features. It’s no secret that I have a thing for pink eyeshadow because it is a colour that can really elevate eyes, nothing too prominent but softly applied making … Continue reading Autumn’s Go-To Makeup Look

Happy Monday! Today I’ve kept my look super casual and neutral. Since Autumn is just around the corner, I thought this look would be perfect for transitioning into the cooler months. For this editorial, I wanted to be quite bold whilst keeping the look modern and wearable! Creating the eye look was quite simple: The main focus is pink eyeshadow on the lids, applied in a rounded, 60s mod shape and blended well around the edges. I complimented the pink with navy blue eyeshadow (as eyeliner). You may not be able to notice on camera, but … Continue reading Makeup Look: A POP OF PINK
It was a lovely Monday morning when I was chatting with my good neighbour about our obsessions with 1940-50s fashion. Soon a conversation was brought up about our top favourite designers and Vivienne Westwood was mentioned. It was at that moment she had told me about a Vivienne Westwood Personal Shoe Collection Exhibition running at our local museum. It is known that this person had … Continue reading Vivienne Westwood Personal Shoe Collection Exhibition
Lately, I’ve been simplifying my makeup looks when It comes to eyeshadow. I’ve only been using two main products to form one of my favourite beachy looks which is a nice blend of gold lids! Not much of a true gold but more copper-bronzed and suited to my skin tone. These two products are all I use. I have extremely oily eye lids and ever … Continue reading Go-To Eye Look: Summery Shimmer

Perfecting a wing can often be intimidating, considering each eye can potentionaly end up looking entirely different to the one you’ve just spent a good 10 minutes on. I occasionally still have those days however, I have noticed that when I’m in a 10 minute-makeup rush I find myself doing either a faint or thick line of eyeliner. It’s a simple yet quick way to … Continue reading MAKEUP LOOK: Thick, Winged Eyeliner

It’s easy to lose track of your weight and fall of the grid subconsciously – I experienced weight gain and frequent headaches, the unhealthy foods I’d put in my body began to show all throughout my skin. I would stay indoors … Continue reading My Journey To A Healthier Lifestyle
For today’s look, I worked with pink hues and undertones to give me a subtle rosy glow! So I finally got round to trying out the glossy lid look. A popular trend right now where you use eye gloss or even lipgloss (what I used) on your lids to create an ethereal glow to your makeup. I will say this is more editorial rather than a wearable out-the-door makeup but depending on what type of look you’re going for – the “undone” … Continue reading GLOSSY LIDS
